So, there's this.
And if you notice the massive boxes in the background, those are our new countertops. We ended up going with the Numerar in oak, and I think they'll be fantastic once we get them installed. We thought the price Ikea's installers gave us seemed a bit astronomical, so we're going to make some phone calls and see if we can find someone to install them a little cheaper. Unfortunately, we lack the tools or skill set to put them in ourselves, so we tossed that plan out the door.
We also made a stop at Shades of Light to check out the drum pendant we liked in person. Sadly, they didn't have it in stock, but they're having one shipped for us to see. We might actually have a real kitchen in a few weeks!
