Our stairs made quite the transformation, from carpeted mess to somewhat decently painted wood steps. 

Unfortunately, we've discovered that puppies can do a number on nice things. We had a baby gate blocking Ruby from going upstairs to ease the transition for Vincent kitty. Sadly, the baby gate started to peel away some of the fresh white paint (and reveal layers of red and green paint below?). Then, little miss puppy pants decided it would be a good idea to add insult to injury and peel even more of the paint away with her little teeth. Looks like we have some touch ups to do. You can see some of the evidence toward the top and bottom of this picture...she's lucky she's cute...
